By downloading or using N8Island you agree to these terms. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us.

  1. 01The trial

    Every feature is free for 48 hours from the moment you choose Start 2-Day Trial in the app. After that, the app needs a license to keep working.

  2. 02What a license gives you

    A license costs $9.99 USD, once, plus any tax shown at checkout. It lets you use N8Island on one Mac at a time, for personal or work use, with no expiry. To move it, deactivate it on the old Mac and activate it on the new one.

    Your license includes the updates we publish through the app’s built-in updater. We decide what updates contain and when they ship.

  3. 03What you agree not to do

    • Share, resell or publish your license key.
    • Bypass, disable or tamper with licensing, or help others do so.
    • Redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows it anyway.

  4. 04Refunds

    You can have a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See the refund policy. A refund or payment dispute revokes the license.

  5. 05Permissions and your Mac

    Some features need macOS permissions such as Accessibility or Screen Recording. You choose which to grant, and can revoke them in System Settings at any time. N8Island only works with what macOS allows it to.

  6. 06Our promise, and its limits

    We work hard to make N8Island reliable, and we’ll help when something goes wrong. But the app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

    To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

  7. 07Ending these terms

    You can stop using N8Island at any time. If you break these terms, for example by sharing your key, we may revoke your license.

  8. 08Changes

    We may update these terms; the date above shows when. Changes never take away a license you’ve already paid for.
