    Download and open

    A notarized build for macOS 26 or later. Drag it to Applications and open it; the Island appears at the top of your screen.

  2. 02

    Start the trial

    Choose Start 2-Day Trial on the welcome page. That's when the 48 hours begin, not at download, and they keep counting while the app is closed.

  3. 03

    Activate when you’re sure

    Buy a license, then paste the key into N8Island: the key icon beside Settings, or License… in the app menu. Activation closes the trial and carries on where you were.

Licensing is built to stay out of the way.
Here is how it behaves at the edges.

One Mac at a time
A license activates on one Mac. To move it, choose Deactivate This Mac on the old one, then activate the new one. If a Mac is lost or erased, support can release its slot after confirming the purchase.
Working offline
An activated license rechecks itself about once a day and keeps working for up to 30 days without a connection.
Your key
It appears on the confirmation page after checkout and arrives by email. Lose it, and recovery emails it to the address you used at checkout.
When the trial ends
The Island shows only its License page. Global shortcuts, Face Unlock, lock-screen widgets, and the edge dock pause. Your settings, imported passwords, and pinned files stay where they are.
Refunds
A full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason: email support@n8island.com. A refund revokes the license; the app returns to its License page on its next check.
What the app sends
Activation sends your key and an anonymous installation ID to the licensing service. There is no account to create.
